Manchester United shifted their transfer target from Sancho to the other three possible alternatives.
Jadon Sancho has always been a top transfer target for Manchester United. Jadon Sancho attracted a lot of attention from the European clubs with his performance. Manchester United was negotiating with Borussia Dortmund multiple times but unable to reach an agreement to bring a young sensation (Jadon Sancho) to Old Trafford.
Borussia Dortmund set a price tag of €120m for his star player which United thinks too much because of the financial situation caused due to Coronavirus. Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward believes Dortmund has been irregular in their approach towards trading Sancho to United.
The Daily Star claimed that Jadon Sancho is no longer required even if Red Devils got that €120M.
The Daily Star stated, “Woodward knows the clock is ticking before the transfer window closes on October 5 and could now turn his attention to Juventus Douglas Costa, Atletico Madrid young player Joao Felix or even attempt a deal to sign Real Madrid Gareth Bale.”
Joao Felix has shown the footballing world what he is capable of. Joao Felix swapped Benfica for Atletico Madrid, this was one of the biggest signings of that season and the deal was done for €126M. It was one of the unexpected claims by The Daily Stars.
Douglas Costa was another player who had been linked with a transfer move to Manchester United. Costa is considered one of the skillful players on the pitch and a lethal winger. He has shown his class and the goal-scoring ability for Juventus. But his regular indulgence with injury is a major problem for the team. The talented winger has missed a major part of the last two seasons due to multiple obstacles including calf and hamstring issues.
Gareth Bale is another talented player whose talent has been wasted by Real Madrid. He had the pace, skill, and a bunch of talent but he always been considered as an underrated player for the Madrid side. Regular injury issues ruined the career of the talented winger. Another issue with Gareth Bale is his salary which most of the clubs can’t afford in Europe.
Manchester United is ready for its new season which is going to start against Crystal Palace at home. This week considered to be very crucial for Manchester United with a transfer perspective.
