He added “He leads from the front and leads the team well, he has his own elegant style of play and certainly the respect of his peers. He’s calm under pressure situations, purposeful demeanour flows through his leadership and, in turn, the team,”
Stead said”A man of Ross’ international experience is very valuable in the fastest form of the game,”
“He has the ability to understand the batting conditions quickly and accurately in different venues in different countries. This is a skill which helps the team as well and helps us to plans things more accurately and quickly in the fastest form of the cricket game.”

White Ferns head coach, Bob Carter said.”Suzie has been a stellar performer for the team and class player for many years,”
“She paces ODI innings brilliantly and has the ability to understand field placements and what opposition captains are trying to do by analyzing the situation on the field and how they are looking to contain or restrict her game.”
In women’s T20, Devine has been a consistent performer for the team and enjoyed an excellent year, scoring her maiden T20 century while also becoming the first player, to reach 50 in five, and then six, consecutive T20 Internationals.
Carter said”Sophie had an exceptional season with the bat in T20 cricket,”

Carter further added.”Sophie’s ability with the ball in T20 cricket goes under the radar at times. She will often step up and bowl the hard overs in very crucial situations of the game and uses changes of pace to her advantage. She is a top quality all-rounder and an exceptional T20 talent,”
