Neymar transfer to Barcelona would make Barcelona and Lionel Messi become giants again says, Dani Alves.
Neymar left Barcelona for Paris Saint Germain in the summer transfer window of 2017 which is still the most expensive transfer of all time with Neymar considered to be away from the shadow of the best player in the world(Lionel Messi).
It did not take long for Neymar to realize the mistake that he has done after leaving Barcelona and he has been linked regularly with Barcelona for a possible move, Blaugrana also eager to welcome Neymar if the deal has been done.
Barcelona are not the only side who has shown interest in the talented Brazilian, real Madrid is another club which wants to sign Neymar, but Alves feels that Brazilian should start his second innings alongside Messi and his former teammates.
The Brazilian international(Dani Alves) told Radio Catalunya “The only thing that I’ve tried to convince is Neymar to go to Barcelona.
“He had a very big offer from Real Madrid, and I told him that if he wanted to be happy he should come to Barcelona. It’s the only time I’ve ever convinced anyone of anything.
“If I were him, I would come back without thinking about it.
“I never think that people make mistakes when they make a decision.
“Everyone knows that Ney can help Barcelona, Messi and the club to become a giant again in La Liga in Europe. Football is becoming more and more balanced. The team has 11 and with Messi, you have 13. The team has 11 and with Neymar, you have 13.”
While discussing Neymar’s move back to Camp Nou, Alves told about himself that he had no regrets for not having a possible return to Camp Nou.
The most decorated player and the best defender of his time left for Juventus in 2016 and later joined with Paris Saint Germain, but there was a transfer rumor of Alves going back to his former club(Barcelona)
Dani Alves confirmed, “Things were being talked about, but nothing ever came of it, I’m not bitter, but they are.”
