NEYMAR BARCELONA:-
Barcelona head coach Quique Setien has said that he believes that he can manage Brazilian star Neymar someday.
Neymar 222 million transfer to Psg is the most expensive transfer ever in football history since then Brazilian is always linked with a move back to Barcelona.
PSG star Neymar admitted last summer that he doesn’t want to continue at Psg and want a move back to Barcelona and the move nearly been completed before it was collapsed near the end of the transfer window and for the reason, Neymar stayed at PSG.
Setien believes that in the future he can manage Neymar in Barcelona and he admitted that Barcelona will find a way to bring his star player back in Barcelona but it looks quite financially difficult to sign Neymar amid the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Setien told beIN SPORTS “I’d love to be able to coach him someday as he is a top-class player and a great footballer. To be honest, I’ve fulfilled a dream in coaching one of the best player ever (Lionel) Messi, but I’d be absolutely delighted if Neymar joined us,”
The club wants to bring Inter star, Lautaro Martinez, to Camp Nou, Barcelona are looking to seal the deal with swapping of multiple players to reduce the price of Lautaro Martinez.
Setien has no said anything regarding the transfer linkup of Lautaro with Barcelona, though he did say the Argentinian would fit into his team’s system.
Setien said “We all know that there are perhaps four of five strikers capable of playing in this role and he is one of them,”
One of the players who are on the verge of leaving the club is Ivan Rakitic, Ivan Rakitic is not getting playing time since the arrival of Frankie De Jong in Barcelona. Setien, though, has said that he believes in the ability and the talent of Croatian and he thinks he still has a major role to play.
Setien further added “He’s in my plans,” I don’t know how much game time he’s had this season but he knows that I’ll be counting on him.”
La Liga has been paused since the global Coronavirus Pandemic hits all over the world. Multiple leagues and tournaments have been stopped or postponed due to the Covid-19 effect . Reports claim that La Liga could start in mid-June as teams begin returning to individual training.
Barcelona currently is on the top of La Liga table with a two-point lead over their bitter rivals Real Madrid, and Setien hopes that La Liga could be completed on the pitch rather than to be ended due to global pandemic.
“I appreciate that we will now finish the season and anything can happen in the later stages of the games. Despite us being on top of the table currently, I would certainly prefer for the season to finish on the pitch.”
