Ronaldo is the first to Juventus training and the last to leave reveals Pirlo

Juventus coach Pirlo lauds Cristiano Ronaldo as he is fascinated with his unbelievable work ethic.

Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo lauded Cristiano Ronaldo’s for the great start of the new season and believes that the star player would continue his form as the season progress.

Ronaldo has started the 2020-21 season with a bang scoring three goals with an assist in two Serie A games helping Juventus to secure four crucial points.

Juventus’ next game is against Napoli and Pirlo believing that Ronaldo would continue his form and score more goals as the season go ahead.

Pirlo said in a news conference “Ronaldo is the most hardworking player. He is the first to arrive at training and the last to go home.”

“He brings excitement and energy, you can notice it on the pitch as well. He began the season really well, I hope he will keep doing like this until the end of the season.

“I hope he’ll score one or two goals every game. He is a really valuable player for us. In Rome, we were a man down and he served a lot until the end of the game. He sets an example for everyone.”

Juventus drew in Group G with Barcelona, it would be a treat for the football fans to see Lionel Messi facing Ronaldo in home and away fixtures of the Champions League.

Pirlo is eager for the challenge and wants to win the Champions League this season. The last time when Juventus won the Champions League is way back in 1996.

Pirlo added “We are in a very good group. It’s always great to face Barcelona because it makes our players more responsible and attentive.

“We understand we’ll play a lot of games. But I believe that it is good to play the first game in Kiev. In October it’s less cold than December there, maybe we’ll not play in the snow then.”
