So If you are looking for reliable protection, you may have to go for Kaspersky. I have personally used it for years so I will always recommend Kaspersky over Malwarebytes.

Effect on PC performance

I have done a full scan of both antiviruses and with the results I have, Kaspersky is the real winner on it.

We have also marked our CPU usage and other resources with the in-built tool. Kaspersky took almost three minutes to run a quick scan and covered almost 1,575,000 of my files.

While on the other hand, Malwarebytes took 60 seconds to run a quick scan, but it only covered a total file of 573,212.

In terms of resources, Kaspersky consumed used more resources than Malwarebytes. During scanning Kaspersky heavily loads the PC with a lot of resources but not enough to have a major impact on the system performance.
