WWE PAYBACK 2020:-
WWE turned to pay-per-view just one week after the grand event Summerslam with Payback. WWE Payback scheduled at the WWE Thunderdome in the Amway Centre in Orlando, Florida. The event happened on Sunday, August 30, which included the multiple high action-packed matches.
The biggest event featured at WWE Payback by a triple threat match for the Universal championship. ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt who had already claimed the title at SummerSlam had to defend against ‘The Monster’ Braun Strowman and the ‘Big Dog’ Roman Reigns who recently came back at WWE for the big event.
The other side of the event featured between the women’s when Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are gone head to head against Sasha Banks and Bayley for the women’s tag team championship.
Earlier Sasha Banks had missed the RAW Women’s Championship to Asuka at SummerSlam and also lost an opportunity to regain the title against the “Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka when the title rematch happened on RAW last week.
The third and the most anticipating match at WWE Payback witnessed between Bobby Lashley beat Apollo Crews in which Lashley claimed the United States championship.

- Bobby Lashley defeated Apollo Crews
WWE now shows post-match photograph montage and the first of which featured are pictures of Bobby Lashley posing with the United States Championship, which he won at Payback for the title shot against Apollo Crews.
Big E defeated Sheamus
Big E shows Sheamus who is the boss in the ring and defeated him in a close match at payback.
Big E is worth watching in the ring. The highlight of the match is Big E spear through the rope to Sheamus when he wants to come inside the ring. This is one of the highly physical matchups at the grand event.
- Matt Riddle def. King Corbin
Matt Riddle defeated King Corbin at the Pay per view event. King Corbin was a favorite to win against the Riddle.
There were two big moments during the match when everybody thought that Korbin seemed to clinch the victory against Riddle and that is the suspense and drama of WWE match. At last, Riddle silences the king with finishing move from the top of the rope and riddle pull off the victory against King Corbin.
- Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax def. Bayley and Sasha Banks—WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
This match was full of ups and down, this match obviously to be remembered for impressive teamwork which was quietly seen between Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
Bayley though was the star of this tag team match.
Shayna Baszler was seen submitting Bayley and Sasha Banks simultaneously with Bayley can’t resist for a long time and at lastly tapped out and this sets up the victory for Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
- Keith Lee def. Randy Orton
Another big event which featured Randy Orton and Keith Lee. There was a lot of buzz around the fans for this match.
It’s a match not for Orton fans as Keith Lee secured the win against Randy Orton at payback.
- Dominik and Rey Mysterio def. Seth Rollins and Murphy
Seth Rollins and Murphy are going up against the father-son duo. Rey Mysterio had a lot of tag team matches in his career but this time he had to team up with his son for an anticipating match at Payback.
Seth Rollins has seen fighting the match at a personal level and he spent a lot more time taunting Rey Mysterio during the match.
Rey Mysterio has been exceptional throughout the match with high flying moves.
Dominik and Rey Mysterio could make a great pair at WWE. Their win against Rolling and murphy is proof of it.
- Roman Reigns def. Braun Strowman and The Fiend—WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns had arrived when he has to be. The ‘Big Dog’ has done what everybody usually should do in a Triple Threat situation—hold out of the match and sign when your competitors are exhausted.
Everybody knows this event will be the headline match at Payback and how this match will be turned out nobody knows that. The entry of Roman Reigns change the course of the match.
