IPL could be played in empty stadium due to coronavirus effect

IPL news 2020:-

In a letter written to Board of control of cricket in india,Indian olympic association and national sports federation,the sports ministry clearly mentioned that no audience or any spectator will be allowed for any kind of sporting match and activity.

Sports minister kiren rijiju twitted out the letter in 12 march.

In letter its mentioned”You are advised to adhere to the advisories issued by the ministry of health and family and welfare and ensure that no public gathering takes place in any sporting event.In the event the sporting event cant be avoided,the same could be done without allowing gathering of people, including spectators.

After this tweet from the sports minister Kiren Rijiju its almost confirmed that the 13th edition of the Indian premier league could be played in empty stadium or will be postponed to another date so the fans can enjoy the cricketing show.

Bcci will be expected to follow the guidelines provided by the sports ministry in the upcoming matches.India vs South Africa Odi series will be the highlight of this decision.

The sports ministry also informed the sports federations to take caution and follow the guidelines while planning for the competition and training for team and players who are preparing for Tokyo Olympic 2020.
