WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results: AJ Styles Returns to Blue Brand, Braun Strowman Features in Opening Segment

WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN:-

WWE Friday Night Smackdown champions vs champions event in women’s division, meanwhile the Intercontinental championship tournament has also been introduced. These action-packed matches took place at WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on Friday, May 22.

The opening edition of WWE Smackdown featured The dirt sheet with two WWE superstar John Morrison and the Miz. Braun strowman was the special guest at the show.

After the words exchanged between them and the heated argument led to the opening match for the Friday Night Smackdown.

At the end of the match John Morrison challenged Braun Strowman to fight against him at the Handicap match in Backlash and the Strowman gladly accepted the match and the challenge from Morrison.

Bayley and Charlotte’s flair played a great match against each other in the champion vs champions clash for the women. Both are up against each other and Charlotte as usual wants to show her moves but Bayley couldn’t leave a chance to show what she has.

1. Braun Strowman vs The Miz – Strowman defeated The Miz.

2. AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Intercontinental Championship Qualifier) – Aj Styles won the Intercontinental Championship Tournament First Round Match against Shinsuke Nakamura.

3. Bayley vs Charlotte Flair (Champion vs. Champion Match) – Bayley showed Charlotte who is the best.

4. Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville vs Otis and Mandy Rose (Mixed Tag Team Match) – Sonya Deville with Dolph Ziggler defeated Otis and Mandy Rose.

5. Jeff Hardy vs Sheamus (Intercontinental Championship Tournament)- Jeff Hardy shows his high flying moves and again proved his ability and desire to win big matches against the Sheamus.
