10. JSCA International Stadium

JSCA International Stadium also known as Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium, is an international cricket stadium situated in Ranchi city of Jharkhand in India.

The Jharkhand States Cricket Association (JSCA) International Cricket Stadium has a capacity of 50,000 with 40,000 seats and 76 corporate boxes. 

JSCA is a large ground whose pitches suit spinners. In this arena, management organizes International Cricket matches and is the home ground of the Jharkhand cricket team.

In the past, it organized 2 games Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings. It was inaugurated in January 2013.

M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, generally known as the Chepauk Stadium, is a cricket stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. 

The stadium Established in 1916, it is the second oldest cricket stadium in the country after Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

It is one of the world’s biggest cricket stadium list with a maximum capacity of 50,000.

It is the home ground of the Tamil Nadu cricket team and the Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings.

Greenfield International Stadium, previously known as Trivandrum International Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kerala, used mainly for association football and cricket.

The stadium is located at Kariavattom in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India. Greenfield International is less than half the capacity of the world’s biggest cricket stadium at maximum seating of 55,000.

Greenfield is also India’s first eco-friendly stadium which is even known for its rainwater-harvesting facility.

The Greenfield Stadium became India’s 50th international cricket venue on 7 November 2017 when it hosted a T20I against New Zealand.

The cricket stadium is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It has a maximum capacity of 55,000 and extends across 15 acres of land. 

The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is known for its flat track which means massive totals on the board.

It operates as the home ground for the Hyderabad Cricket Association and the Indian Premier League team Sunrisers Hyderabad.

As of 25 September 2022, it has hosted 5 Tests, 6 ODIs, and 3 T20Is. This stadium hosted the opener and final of the 2017 Indian Premier League, and also the final of the 2019 Indian Premier League.

This stadium has the capacity to accommodate 55,583 spectators at max capacity. During the 2017/18 Ashes series, Adelaide Oval saw an attendance of 55,317.

The Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium Raipur, also known as Naya Raipur International Cricket Stadium, is a cricket stadium in the city of Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

This stadium is the home ground of Chattisgarh, Delhi Capitals, and the Indian team. Naya Raipur stadium is established in 2008 in Chattisgarh, it has a capacity of 65.000 visitors.

This ground hosted its first-ever match in 2010 when the Canada national cricket team came to India and played a rehearsal match against the Chhattisgarh state team.

The stadium presently has a capability of 66,000. It is often referred to as the home of Indian cricket. 

Eden Gardens is named the “Mecca of Indian cricket”, due to it being the first officially constructed ground for the game of cricket in India.

Eden Gardens has hosted matches in prominent international matches including the World Cup, World Twenty20, and Asia Cup.

since it was built in 1853, the MCG has been under multiple renovations. It served as the stadium for the 1956 Summer Olympics, the 2006 Commonwealth Games, and two Cricket World Cups: 1992 and 2015.

It is set to hold the Grand Final for the 2022 T20 World Cup. The MCG hosted both the first Test match and the first One Day International, which was played between Australia and England in 1877 and 1971 respectively.

The Narendra Modi Stadium does not need any introduction in this list. The cricket stadium is situated inside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Ahemdabad India.

As of 2022, it is the largest stadium in the world, with a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators. It is a venue for Test, ODI, T20I, and Indian Premier League cricket matches.

In 2015, the stadium was shut down and destroyed before being fully rebuilt by February 2020, with an evaluated cost of ₹800 crores (US$100 million).

As of 2022, the stadium has hosted 14 Tests, 27 ODIs, 6 T20I matches, and 2 IPL matches including the finals of the 2022 edition.
