Pele’s record is breathtaking and he is still standing at the top in the list of greats unchallenged for several years, with Diego Maradona is the only player to get close to the Brazilian great.
Messi and Ronaldo are two superstars of football they are the best of all time their individual records are par excellence they have changed modern football with their performance over the course of time.

Footballing greats and many believe that they are above Pele with the individual awards and the trophy that they have won during their career but Tostao still considers Brazilian who won the world cup thrice to be the finest player ever graced the footballing pitch.
He said FIFA.com “I think Pele was better than all of them. For me, there’s no comparison. Pele was a far more complete player I have ever seen. He had every quality that a forward could have. He didn’t have one defect.
“Messi’s spectacular, but he doesn’t head the ball as Pele did, he doesn’t shoot as well with both feet, he doesn’t pull off the moves that Pele did.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is an exceptional player, but he doesn’t have the ability that Pele had and he doesn’t pull off the incredible passes that Pele did.
“If you take the qualities of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, put them together, then you’d have a player to compare to Pele”
Tostao also gave his valuable input in Maradona and Pele’s comparison, he said Argentine World Cup winner was outstanding, but he wasn’t on Pele’s level, he didn’t score the numbers of goals Pele did during his career”
Pele has always placed himself as the best than the rest, and the Brazilian is proud of all that he has achieved during his career. During a recent interview, he rated Portugal international higher than the Argentinian when he has been asked about the best player of modern football.
Pele told Pilhado when asked about the best player according to him: “Today the best player in the world is Cristiano Ronaldo. I think he’s the best because he’s more consistent and phenomenal to watch, but you can’t forget about Messi, of course, but he’s not a striker.”
