NEYMAR JR LEAVING BARCELONA:-

Neymar has been considered one of the best players of this generation. Neymar has played a notable role in helping Paris Saint Germain to reach Champions League final for the first time in history, but the La Liga analyst Scott Minto still thinks that the move to PSG is not a turning point for the Brazilian. He told that Neymar should have stayed in Barcelona.

Neymar transfer to PSG from Barcelona is the most expensive transfer and Neymar became the most expensive player in the history of football. Neymar joined Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2017 for a new challenge in his career since then he won eight domestic titles with PSG. PSG will be going to play their first Champions League final against Bayern Munich in Lisbon.

Barcelona shattering defeat against Bayern Munich in Champions League Quarter Final has completely outbroken the club and the players and many believe that Neymar’s decision to leave Camp Nou for Parc des Princes has been justified.

Minto disagrees with the statement and said that both Barcelona and Neymar would be better if they are together and argued that Brazilian should have stayed in Barcelona for better futurity.

Minto told Goal while speaking at Hotels.com Dream Screen “PSG have their best chance ever to win the Champions League, But would it justify Neymar’s decision to move to PSG? I would still say no.

“I still think Barcelona would have won more Champions Leagues and he would have won more Champions Leagues if he had played with the Messi and Suarez at Barcelona.

“I think that was the best trio ever in the history of football, so it is a shame he left.”

Minto was dazzled with PSG’s dominating performance against RB Leipzig in the Semi-final of the Champions League and feels that they are confident enough to win their first Champions League in Lisbon. Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Angel Di Maria will play a vital role in the Champions League final.

However, Minto still believes that Bayern Munich is favorites to win the Champions League final in Lisbon for 6th time. Bayern Munich already demolished Barcelona with an 8-2 scoreline in Quarter Final.

Minto further added, “Messi is the best player in the history of the game but that game showed that one great player can’t beat a great team, against Bayern, Messi’s team-mates were unable to step up.”

Minto considers Robert Lewandowski will be recognized as the best player of 2020.

“Lewandowski has 55 goals, and I think you would have to give him all of the individual honours for winning a treble, especially with no international competitions this year“
