Golden state warriors donated 1 million to fund for part-time employees

Coronavirus has affected a lot of people and their life all over the world. It also affected a lot of sports events and leagues around the world, but even in such a situation people are stepping up and helping each other as a symbol of humanity.

One of the best examples comes from the golden state warriors when they announced Friday evening that they are donating 1 million to the disaster relief fund to help the part-time employees, who are badly affected due to the stoppage of NBA games for at least the period of one month.

The contribution for the disaster relief fund comes from warriors ownership,players and coaches to help and support more than 1000 people who work home games at chase center.

The golden state warriors are not the first team who stepped up to help and support the part-time workers in this crisis moment but there are other teams of NBA who shown their support for their part-time workers:-

This includes the teams like grizzlies,cavaliers,hawk,pistons,suns,rockets,lakers,clippers and many more.

It’s a nice gesture shown by the team owners,players and coaches to help their part time workers in such a situation when they need the most.

Apart from this a lot of individual players also came forward for the support and the relief fund,Kevin love,giannis antetokounmpo,zion williamson and jeremy lin are one of them.Kevin love donated $100000 to part time workers at quicken loan arena, giannis antetokounmpo has also donated the money for their part time workers.

zion williamson is helping and supporting the smoothie king center employees for one month,jeremy lin is donating $100000 for the UNICEF to fight against coronavirus pandemic.
