Gary Neville hailed Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta as he has transformed Arsenal into a more stable team.

The former Manchester United legend is a great devotee of Arteta work. Arteta’s appointment as a coach given Arsenal the boost which they needed to perform on the big stage of football. Arteta has made huge advancements with Arsenal since being appointed as a manager. Mikel Arteta took the job after they have sacked Emery in December.

Arteta has doubted by a lot of critics, as he does not have any prior experience as a coach. Arteta was the assistant coach of Manchester City working with Pep Guardiola prior to the Arsenal post. Brushing all criticism, Arteta helped Arsenal to become a consistent performer in the Premier League, and we can see it with the graph of improvement since Arteta joined the club.

Neville says on his podcast, “I think Mikel Arteta is punching above his weight”. Arsenal struggled since the exit of Arsene Wenger from the club, but Arteta completely changed the performance of the club. Arteta has been working to make the squad stable with more depth.

Arsenal won back-to-back Premier League games, beating Fulham with 3-0 and West Ham with 2-1. Arsenal has to maintain his performance throughout the league to be in the top 4. Mikel Arteta has confidence that he can bring glory back to Arsenal.

MIKEL ARTETA WANTS MORE DEPTH IN ARSENAL SQUAD

Gary Neville recognizes that Arteta wants to add more players in the squad to make it more stable and add more depth. The Arsenal boss has made three major signings, but Arteta is keen to add some players to change the squad.

Neville added, “He is going above and beyond the players he has. The shape and the organization, things we have criticized Arsenal for in the past, is good”.

“They are not finishing in the top four like Arsene Wenger used to get criticized for, but they look like a team which is more confident. It has continued from the end of last season and he is doing an outstanding job”.

“I just think Mikel Arteta would love that £150 million that Frank Lampard has got this summer.”

Arsenal has shown some excellent performance defeating the clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea last season. Arsenal won the FA Cup against Chelsea and Community shield against the mighty Liverpool. The titles have given the boost to Arsenal to keep playing positively.

The upcoming games for Arsenal are against Leicester City for the third round of the Carabao Cup and against Liverpool in the Premier League. Arteta is confident about the games and hoping for the positive results.

CHELSEA ARE NOT UP TO THE MARK

Gary Neville gives his views on Chelsea’s failure facing Liverpool in the Premier League. Chelsea is not up to the mark against Liverpool and lost the game with a 2-0 scoreline. Frank Lampard hoping to start the new season with a win, but the poor performance on the field cost the game for Chelsea. Christensen’s red card on the field and Kepa’s awful mistake disrupts the balance of the team.

Sadio Mane took the advantage of their mistakes and scored the goal which settled the game for Liverpool. Neville feels that Lampard’s tactics went all wrong against Liverpool. Lampard tries to do something different that cost the game for the Blues.

Chelsea hopes that they will come back strongly in the next game and will provide better performance in the coming games.
