Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins feels great when Tim Paine rated him as one of the top contenders as a future test captain.

Debates are still going on who should lead the Australian team once Tim Paine retires from international cricket.

Tim paine named a lot of top and professional players who can lead the Australian team with grace.

Top contender which tim paine suggested are Steve Smith,Travis Head,Alex Carey and Marnus Labuschagne for the captaicny job.

Former world cup winning captain Michael Clarke rated Pat Cummins as a top contender for leading the Australian team.

“It’s great to hear, (I) don’t think it makes me want it more or less. I’m fortunate being a vice-captain of underneath him that I get that nod. He’s brilliant,” Cummins was quoted as saying by

“Like I’ve told so many times before, I kind of feel it’s not the best time to talk about captaincy ,when we’ve got someone like Painey and Finchy doing remarkable jobs a s a Australian team captain. We’ll see down the track, but at the moment it’s bit of a moot point.”

Pat Cummins made his international debut in test cricket against south africa in 2011 and won his first man of the match award in his inaugral test match.

He suffered a lot of injuries in his cricketing career but he always came back strongly.

Pat cummins has also been a part of top clubs in the world.He plays for sydney thunder in big bash league and also became the most expensive player of this season,when Kolkata knight Riders bought him for 15.5 crores.

Pat Cummins has taken 143 wickets from 30 tests since making his grand debut against south africa in 2011.
