Brooklyn nets parted the ways with the coach kenny atkinson after three long term.
Jacque Vaughn will take the charge from the head coach kenny atkinson to work as an interim for the rest of the season 2019-20.Kenny Atkinson has been appointed by the brooklyn nets in april 2016,since then team is having record of 90-156.Nets also been eliminated in 2019 playoffs by philadelphia 76ers in five game match.
Brooklyn nets recent form is also not up to the mark.Nets are not showing growth in their recent matches.
Brooklyn recently lost five out of six games they have played.Brooklyn last win is over the spurs.Atkinson also addressed the issue.
Atkinson told reporters”You have got to get a little uncomfortable when you are not doing well i think that’s a part of philosophy, you have got to feel that.
Vaughn is a former nba point guard.Vaughn won the championship with his team(spurs) in 2007.Vaughn taken the retirement in 2009 after that under the guidance of gregg popovich ,he joined san antonio staff in 2010.
Vaughn also served as a head coach for orlando magic from july 2012 to feb 2015.Vaughn is having a record of 58-158 as a head coach which he served for two plus term.
