BAYERN MUNICH TRANSFER NEWS:-
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness says he would very much admire it if Manuel Neuer was to sign a new contract with the German champions Bayern Munich.
The best goal-keeper(Manuel Neuer) of the world has been the subject of transfer conjecture with the Schalke keeper Alexander Nubel.
Uli Hoeness told Kicker”I would be very happy and acknowledge it if Manuel Neuer would stay at Bayern Munich for the next few years because he is still one of the best goalkeepers the world has ever seen,”
“I also believe that the signing of Schalke Goal-keeper Alexander Nubel’s is 100 percent correct and was one of the best decisions by (sporting director) Hasan Salihamidzic.”
If Neuer does stay at Bayern Munich for another season, it would be his 10th season at the club since joining, as the Schalke Goal-keeper in 2011.
Manuel Neuer has won almost everything with the German Champions including Seven Bundesliga titles, the DFB-Pokal four times, and the Champions League in 2013 but it is yet to be seen that Manuel Neuer will continue with Bayern Munich or not.
According to the reports claimed Bundesliga could return behind closed doors in the coming weeks. Clubs in Germany are back in training amid hopes of Bundesliga return.
Bayern’s players and the board took pay cuts to help the club financially against the coronavirus crisis, and Hoeness is keen to continue this for financial boost within the club against the crisis that Coronavirus created to all sports organizations.
He added”At FC Bayern it is a 20 percent wage cut for April that is no longer refundable, “After all, we don’t have revenue generated from games without supporters and fans that are reasonably offset by the wage cut.
“Basically, I think ‘ghost games’ are questionable, but given the economic situation of some clubs, they are vital and necessary.
“The DFL is working in the very best way in such a crisis situation, as the negotiations with Sky show.
“I would also be very happy if some fanatics for relaxing restrictions, who are currently not doing so well in the opinion polls, would be a little more restrained.
“It cannot be that even one more person dies for a week or two of fun [if football returns]. None of us can answer that.”
